Specific thanks to:

(graphical)
mmpx222 (of D2mods) for the "Hunger & Rabies Bug Fix", which fixes a major hit bug for these two skills by changing the animation.
cla$$ics, Ogodei, kongdev, eezstreet, Alpha (all of D2mods) for their work on skill icons.

(modding resources)
Freiik (of D2mods) for investigating all cases of randomized skill tabs (https://d2mods.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=53827).
Nefarius (of D2mods) for the AI Compendium, which I heavily used for monster modifications.
Darkquake (of D2mods) for almost properly describing the ctc lvl range formula; the seemingly accurate formula that I got based off his work was (item level - skill level requirement)/4 (https://d2mods.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=66611).

(plugins)
Stormy Fairweather (creation of the no-Battle.net button menu; incredibly useful for testing given how many times I've accidentally crashed my game by clicking that button)
Mhoram & Ravenswolf (creation of the gigainv-v11 plugin)
Devurandom (creator of basemod)

Huge (generalized) thanks to:

The Amazon Basin wiki for its top tier understanding of game mechanics. I never would have known bash doesn't actually add damage but leeches through physical immunes with its added "damage", sacrifice ignores a bunch of damage modifiers for no good reason and that many, many other skills and stats have bugs or unusual mechanics that aren't explained anywhere else in such an accessible manner.

Pretty much anyone that has ever posted in the D2mods modding sections. I've read through just about every single thread to try and understand this stuff to my best ability. Especially to those forgotten threads with no responses (or a single response saying it requires code editing) that seem to pose impossible questions, for many of those made me realize softcoded workarounds that I never would have even considered otherwise. And extra especially to anyone that actually has the guts to do code editing, because I am far too dense to do it myself.

Every single Diablo 2 modder. I've played through every single Diablo 2 mod that changes the game at least slightly, with the only exceptions being mods that have been lost to time or hidden behind a paywall. The only reason I ever decided to start modding was noticing just how much you can do with some creativity. Nearly every mod I played has some weird mechanics, balancing or features that I've either never seen before or never seen used in such a way and it slowly built a web of information for me to reference and understand. Things that I thought were completely impossible or impractical to do with softcoding grew into realistic solutions thanks to the hundreds of unique mods out there.

Huge (modder) thanks to:

Brother Laz, as I never would have even touched Diablo mods otherwise. Your mod made me realize that you can do a whole lot of bizarre mechanics with softcoding despite the rather limited modding tools available. And very especially for making MXL open source: it would've taken me much longer to understand how many skills and cube recipes work otherwise, and I probably never would have understood missile skills even a fraction as well if it were not for your work.

Volf of D2mods, D2scrabble is the most fun I've ever had playing a Diablo 2 mod and made me realize just how expansive a mod can be.

mmpx222 of D2mods, for his "Hunger & Rabies Bug Fix" plugin which fixes the issue of guaranteed missing with those skills.

ocarinas of D2mods, for discovering Itype Stats; you really expanded what I can do with softcoding. The dialogue system and most of the skills wouldn't work without the system you found.

Xeno of D2mods, for his formulae guide. Most of the "fancy" stuff I've done involves formulae in some way.

Nagahaku of D2mods, for his thread on Cloak of Shadow crashes (https://d2mods.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=66870).
